Tax Supervisor/Manager
Candidate is responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; developing and managing staff; working closely with partners and staff on client management, and practice development and business development activities. Candidate must be viewed as a technical resource and business partner both within the tax department and within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain excellent client relationships through active communication to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
- Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Review tax returns including Corporate, S-Corp., Partnership, Trusts, Tax Exempt entities and individuals to help ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Research and consult on tax matters
- Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
To try out for the team you must have:
- A minimum of five years of progressive federal tax compliance experience in public accounting
- Experience in Corporate, S-Corp., Partnership, Trust, Tax Exempt entities and/or Individual returns.
- Experience in researching tax issues
- Ability to think strategically and identify, research, resolve and communicate issues
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- Master’s degree in Taxation, JD, LLM from an accredited college/university or CPA is preferred

Audit Manager
