Today, 100% of our partners and 92% of the Firm’s employees participate in a regular volunteer activity. The Firm and its employees have been honored for outstanding volunteer efforts over the years, including receiving the prestigious Corporate Volunteer of the Year award from the Volunteer Center of San Francisco and the Outstanding Corporate Volunteer award from the Volunteer Exchange of Santa Clara County.

Hood & Strong LLP provides funding each year to the Robert E. Mellin Endowment at the University of San Francisco. Robert Mellin was a former Managing Partner at Hood & Strong LLP. A scholarship is given to the top accounting student at the business school each year.
