Hood & Strong LLP, a leading California-based advisory, tax and assurance firm, has unveiled a refreshed brand and new website as the firm marks its 107th year serving the financial needs of individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations across the West and beyond.
The new visual identity, brand messaging and website highlight the firm’s storied legacy, robust service offerings and collaborative approach to helping clients navigate today’s ever-evolving financial landscape. The new H&S tagline, “You drive. We navigate,” bolsters this theme and recognizes the firm’s experienced and talented team members.
“We felt that it was time to revisit and refresh our brand to better reflect our unique entrepreneurial culture, the depth and reach of our services, and the talents of our team,” said H&S Managing Partner Susan Malone. “Our clients entrust us with their most important financial decisions because of our knowledgeable, experienced and innovative people.”
The initiative is part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and strategic growth. In addition to developing a new “look” for the organization – which included new logos, colors, typography, photography and graphics – updated messaging reinforces the firm’s Bay Area roots while emphasizing its expanded reach and service area, with team members and clients nationwide.
Creative development was led by MacKenzie, H&S’s long-time marketing communications and creative agency, who worked with partners and staff throughout the development process to create a brand system and website that honors the firm’s history while recognizing its modern, forward-looking culture and values. “Our new website is a contemporary reflection of our ethos and approach, with a spotlight on the talented people who make our success possible,” Malone added. “It’s our new ‘front door’ for sharing the many facets of the H&S story with current and prospective clients, employees and community partners.”
