Jacob has been with Hood & Strong since 2012, where he advises charities and nonprofits in higher education, social services, and private foundations on a broad range of tax and regulatory issues. A key member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Service Group, he previously served as the board treasurer for the Friends of Alameda County CASA – an organization that advocates for children in the dependency court system – overseeing budgets and reporting for the organization. Jacob is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs and holds a B.S. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
